| Refurbishment of large family home in Notting Hill Gate | |
| Refurbishment and restoration of prominent listed building in London |

Project: This new contemporary
house has been described as 'one of the most impressive and distinctive city
homes in Europe'. The 800sq metre home was built in the space once occupied
by a warehouse, located behind a row of shops and with an access passage only
2.6 metres wide. The primary structure of the building is fairfaced concrete,
a fully glazed roof and power floated and glass floors. Working closely with
the client's team, Day Building was able to overcome the considerable challenges
that this project presented, due in part to the
innovative use of materials and wide range of specialist
sub-contractors from throughout the UK and Europe.
